Glacier National Park Wedding Album November 23, 2016 12:39
What's a more thoughtful gift than a personalized engraved photo album for your friend? Michelle wanted to get their newly-wed friends, Max and Jill, a special gift; one that would capture a moment from their beautiful wedding day and immortalize it forever on a photo album cover. A photo album that has one of their favorite memories on the cover and more memories to be made on the inside. And that is how the Glacier National Park Wedding Album came to be.The little details are the details that matter... Also, on the spine of the album, we added the place and date of where and when they got married. The album is also held together by metal hinges and leather straps, which gives it a more rustic vibe and nature to it.
The bag that was made to go with the Glacier National Park Wedding Album. It has the infinity sign stamped onto it; the infinity sign appears throughout this album as it symbolizes forever, never ending and limitless, just like their love.
On the inside of the cover, there is a puzzle art which was requested by Michelle. It is a heart with the names of their family members on it and they all fit together as one puzzle piece. The infinity sign makes it appearance once again on the front cover of the photo album, embossed in the bottom center of the page with the initials M & J for Max and Jill.

Brindle Cafe Memory Book September 29, 2016 08:17
What a real life romantic love story...
Having a first date at a Brindle cafe and now, a happy newly wed couple.
Their friend, Waseem, wanted to give a gift to her friends. So, she requested for us to make a memory book in a journal size for the newlywed couple, Monique and Mayank, to place in their pictures of old favorite memories and new ones to come.
So, we created a Brindle cafe memory Book just for them.
Monique and Mayank had their first date at Brindle Cafe, New York. So, we engraved Brindle's logo onto the front of the book.
Here, you can see we also added a little coffee press and coffee cup, just to add to the overall theme.
Waseem also requested that we have pressed flowers in the front page. We think that adds a pop of nice nature and color to the book.
Metal clasps to add a more rustic vibe.
A leather closure to compliment the rustic metal clasps.
The back of the coffee shop/brindle cafe memory book with a smooth wood finishing. The wood, metal and light brown leather really resembles the warm cozy feeling of being in a coffee shop.
The front page with a floral embossing at the corner and at the bottom, their initials with a heart.
Their names printed with "Our very first..." below it.
This is the final product of our brindle cafe memory book.
Lucky Horseshoe Wedding Guestbook September 15, 2016 09:10
We were contacted by the groom's mom, Gail, to create this Lucky Horseshoe Wedding Guestbook. She called for an inquiry for the specifics and estimated delivery time as she wanted this to be delivered on time just for the wedding.
This is a very simple guestbook with two intertwining horseshoes in the front which really draws the focus and attention to the horseshoe as a main subject.
A horse shoe has a long history of being protective and is very symbolic in lots of cultures but mainly Western culture, The horseshoe is a very auspicious symbol, a charm used to protect against any form of evil and bring good luck. A horseshoe is considered lucky as it is made with Iron, a strong metal which withheld fire. This gave a strong resemblance of strength and power.
A light baby pink front sheet to add a pop of light color and hand pressed edges to give a subtle detail and a stamp of the two intertwining horseshoes in the middle bottom of the page
The last and final look of our Lucky Horseshoe Wedding Guestbook project.
Hyatt Centric Park City Guestbook September 07, 2016 07:00
This project is the Hyatt Centric Park City Guestbook. We were contacted by Chris Carter, director of operations, to design and create a guestbook for their hotel. The first image was sent to us by Chris was too intricate to engrave by hand so...
We suggested this image to Chris instead. These are pictures of Hyatt Centric Park City.
He requested to have the quote "Let's explore together..." on the top middle part of the guestbook.
Bounded with leather and chicago binding screws.
The pages inside, with information for guests to fill out on who they are, when their stay was, and what they loved.
A handmade canvas bag to accompany the Hyatt Centric Park City Guestbook
It had a hand-sewn leather closure, leather flap, button and string.
The final outlook and product of the Hyatt Centric Park City Guestbook.
A nice email from Chris on June 14th, 2016

Warm Cabin Wedding Guestbook August 30, 2016 07:00
What's a nicer image than being out in the woods surrounded by big tall trees and serenity, just you and your lover? This Warm Cabin Wedding Guestbook. Not only does it capture all the aspects of the woodsy-ness but the hand burned engraving gives it it's raw and natural look.
Here's a little background story on how this book came to be, Rachel and her fiancé, Shane, were both born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Both of them have a strong liking for the outdoors and wilderness, they love fishing and hunting. They were both raised to appreciate nature and wildlife. Their family has a cabin down near the Kenai River in Soldotna, Alaska, which is known for world class salmon fishing during the summer months. For most of her childhood summers, they were spent down at the cabin, running through the woods, playing and fishing. So, her family's cabin is the most precious place in her heart and this cabin has a lot of fond and irreplaceable memories attached to it. She've always said that she'd want to get married at the cabin. She wanted a guestbook to portray the importance to Shane and herself of hunting, fishing and the family cabin. This is a sketch of the cabin drawn by her grandmother.
The hunter/forest green paper on the inside ties it all together with the whole "outdoors" theme.
A little tree detail at the bottom of the page and a letterpressed notecard as compliment to the package.
A matching burlap bag, with the initials R & S for Rachel and Shane, and a moose in between the both of them to further emphasize their love of nature.
The final product of this Warm Cabin Wedding Guestbook. The final look is very welcoming cozy warm but yet shows the beauty of nature and animals perfectly.

Moraine Lake Wedding Guestbook June 23, 2016 12:52
Tammie contacted us to customize a wedding guest book for her son wedding around April. At first, she was thinking to get our oak tree wedding for Patrick and Melissa’s wedding. But later after reading our blog posts and saw many different guestbooks that we have done, then they decided to go with a little more personalized and complex artwork; The Moraine Lake wedding guestbook. Tammie sent us couple pictures of Moraine Lake, but her files were too small to work with, and we looked up other Moraine Lake images online, and we found this image that we could work with.
We carefully constructed the outlines of the scene, then watch for soft and hard edges in the lines. Pay attention to the quality to the lines and shading patterns. Having the image on iPad is much better than printed on a paper for observing the image as guide.
This is our version of the Maraine Lake on wood.
Open spine coptic binding with dark brown thread.

Personalized letterpress printed their names and date on the first page.
We printed a row of pine trees at the bottom of first page to match the Maraine Lake's scene.
A personalized burlap bag for storage is nice details touch to the guestbook.
Rustic Tree Wedding Guest Book June 15, 2016 15:46
This rustic tree wedding guest book project is very different from our other rustic tree guestbook projects. Because we only did part of the artwork and the groom; Matt will finish the other part of the artwork himself. Matt is a designer, he sent us his image (image below) that he want it to be on his guestbook cover. He wanted us to engrave the rustic tree, their names and wedding date on the cover, and he will draw and paint the sunflower in color himself.
We hand-engraved his rustic tree image on the cover.
We left some room at the bottom cover, so Matt can paint the sunflowers like the image he sent us.
We made a green burlap bag because Matt had choosen green binding, so we match the green theme on the burlap bag.
Open spine with waxed green thread binding.
We used green lining paper to match the green theme and letterpress printed a wood grain notecard for the couple as complimentary gift.
Embossed a tree and their monograms on the cover page.
This image above is unfinished, and we are actually curious to see the finish version of the rustic tree wedding guestbook.

Cindy is the mother of the bride; Brit. She placed an Oak Tree wedding guestbook order through our site but it didn’t go through. She contacted us to see what went wrong with her order. Somehow our conversation had lead us to change the front cover artwork from Oak Tree design to a Chicago Skyline Guestbook. Cindy sent us couple of her drawings of what she had in mind. Her idea was to combine something from Georgia (Oak Tree with Spanish Moss where Brit and Ryan came from) and a Chicago skyline as the background ( now where they live now). She also wanted to have a bear and a bird in front of the oak tree. Bear is represent Ryan and the Bird represents Brit. Cindy even sent us their engagement photos which in front of Chicago Skyline buildings so we have better visual understand for the couple.. Red Cedar San Francisco Cityscape Wedding Book May 03, 2016 10:15
We made this red cedar SF cityscape wedding guestbook for Zach & Janel who just had their wedding last weekend. Janel placed her order via our online store, but later she contacted us to see they could have different timber than our regular cityscape wedding book kiri wood. We checked our wooden boards archival, we thought these red cedar wood might work for her wedding guestbook. We got back to her with red cedar wood cover option, and Janel liked the wood and continued to proceed her order with us.
Red cedar wood has unique grains and knots, and also has natural aromatic fragrance scent. It is commonly used in fragrance oil or even used in closets or chests to repel insects. We like red cedar wood so much and we've always tried our best to make use of every little piece of wood left from the cut. We made book marks and hearts pendents. We like to include as complimentary gifts to our clients.
We used scroll saw to cut the double hearts out of our scrap wood pile. Though the cut is not as sharp and clean as those laser cut machine woods but it is good enough for book mark purpose.
Letterpress printed personalized names and wedding date, and embossed the SF cityscape at the bottom of the page.
A row of SF victorian houses hand-printed on a muslin bag, and a letterpress personalized notecard for the couple we thought it could use as decór at their wedding reception.
Here is a nice email from Janel after she received her red cedar SF cityscape wedding guestbook in the mail.
I just received our guest book and absolutely love it! It’s so perfect and how you wrapped it is so cute! Thank you for making such personal and sweet guest book for us.Thank you!Janel
Heart Initials Wedding Guest Book April 26, 2016 07:00
This heart initials Wedding guest book was made for Philip and Lisa In UK back in February 2016. Philip found our envelope guest book we made in 2012 for our client, he contacted us to have a similar style of guest book for their wedding this summer. We offered different options of graphics for them to choose, but Philip and Lisa had decided to pick a simple corner heart initials guest book with hinges binding but he didn’t want to have envelopes glued onto pages like the original envelope guest book he inquired.
Letterpress printed their names and wedding date, and embossed hearts along the bottom page to match the front cover.
Originally we only had 2 hinges on the front cover when we made the envelope guest book in 2012, but since this is not an envelope wedding guest book and we understand their guests will write their wishes onto pages not on card inserts, so we added 2 more hinges at the back cover just to add more strength and flexibility to the spine.
A letterpress notecard and a wooden heart book mark added to the package as complimentary to the couple.
A personalized burlap bag to match this heart initials wedding guest book is always a nice rustic touch to the package.
The Beatles LP Wedding Guest Book April 20, 2016 10:59
We’ve made plenty of the Beatles LP wedding guest books over the years. The Beatles LP wedding guest book has become one of our popular item in our Etsy and Storenvy shops. All of our Beatles LP records were provided by our clients, because vintage Beatles LP records are precious and hard to find. The LP vinyls guest book concept was originally came from recycling and reuse. Couple years ago when LP records were not as trendy as now, a co-workers of Maria wanted to get rid of his LP records collection and he gave us couple boxes of his old LP records. We loved retro LP records so we took the his generous offer. We saved some that we like; Eagles, Madonna, Elvis Presley, Chicago, Elton John and for our record player.
Most other LP musics in those boxes we’re not familiar with, we didn’t know what could we do with it so we made couple journals out of it for pleasure. Some we gave it to friends as gifts during Christmas, but later we decided put some LP records journals on Etsy for sale rather than sitting on the selves. Surprisingly Recycled LP journal got hit likes. Etsy communities loved the recycled records and reuse and bring it to live. Then later some Etsy clients requested to have a recycled LP record wedding guest book made instead of journal. Vinyl journal is too small for guestbook purpose. We figured we could cut the LP records into bigger size so it can be used for guest book. Then LP wedding guest book is born and sold much faster than LP journals. Not too long after we posted couple of our LP record guestbooks on our blog and then some other music fan clients wanted to have specific type of LP records for their wedding guest book covers, and they even willing to send their own records at their own costs and this was the journey of our Beatles LP wedding guest book came to live.
This Beatles LP wedding guest book project was made for Erica and Scott back in February 2016. Erica and Scott sent us their own records, and their vinyls were remastered not like those old vinyls we had before. It’s appeared to be thicker than the old vinyls and it came with a nice LP cover. We really like the thick glossy finish LP cover, we could have easily make another guest book out of the LP cover for sale, but we thought making it to a shopping bag from LP cover as a package of the guest book is cooler, and Erica and Scott would treasure the guest book even more. We believe packaging always plays important role of a product. If the LP records come with a nice LP cover like this project, we always like to make use of it and turn into something nice with the guest book to delight our clients. Because wedding day is a big day of their lives, they want something special and personal to be celebrated with. We used a lyrics page we collected from other Beatles LP wedding guest book project as first lining page. We usually saved and recycled Beatles LP cover and lyrics pages from other projects. Because most of our clients didn’t care to keep the left over materials they shipped us and we thought what a waste to throw it away.
Ringo Starr’s eye looked through the hole from Lyric page underneath, we thought it's a fun little details on this guest book.
After the lyric page, letterpress printed personalized info on the first page.
Another lyric page we bounded together before the back cover; a free spirit John Lennon on phone with Yoko behind the scene.
Open coptic binding spine with waxed linen black thread. We like the black thread to match the shopping bag.
Front cover with front side shopping bag.
Back cover with back side shopping bag.
